Haeundae — Our Pick
We stayed at the UH Continental CenterPoint, two minutes' walk from Haeundae Beach — Korea's most famous stretch of sand, and a genuinely good first impression of Busan. The hotel itself had a jacuzzi, a free whiskey lounge, and a rooftop, which made it a comfortable, slightly indulgent base after busier days in Seoul and Gyeongju.
From Haeundae, Dalmaji Hill is a pleasant 16-minute walk with sea view cafés along the route, and Haeundae Station Exit 5 is the pickup point for day tours covering the rest of the city's highlights, including Gamcheon Culture Village and the Sky Capsule.
