Who We Are
We're Maria and Zé — and food has always been our real reason for travelling. Not the landmarks. Not the Instagram spots. The meal that makes you put your fork down and just sit with it for a second.
We've been building this life slowly — longer trips, deeper dives, fewer tourist traps. In 2026, we took that further and left for a full gap year through Asia. Japan first, then Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and South Korea. A baby on the way. A blog to write.
This is that blog.
What We Write About
Everything we wish we'd known before each trip — the restaurants that are actually worth the queue, the neighbourhoods that didn't make the listicles, the hotels we'd book again and the ones we wouldn't. We write about food first, always. Then the places that make you understand a city differently.
We're not comprehensive. We're honest. There's a difference.
